About Us

Based in Cranbrook, B.C., Apex Accounting, Chartered Professional Accountants offers a complete range of tax and accounting services to corporate and personal clients throughout the East Kootenay region.
We pride ourselves on accuracy, professionalism and the ability to provide strategies for each client’s individuals needs.
Apex Accounting, Chartered Professional Accountants, (formerly known as Taylor Adams) was started in 1996 by Trent Taylor. When Trent retired in 2016, he passed the reins to Mike Adams, a partner in the firm since 2003 and a familiar face to many clients. As of July 31, 2018, Mike officially took over as sole proprietor.
In recent years, Apex Accounting has been modernizing its office to offer the most advanced accounting procedures. What hasn’t changed, however, is the commitment to being easily accessible to both new and existing clients.
We want to see our clients succeed: When they succeed so does our community – and community is something we here at Apex Accounting feel very strongly about. Our accountants and many of our staff members are active volunteers. We encourage and actively look for ways to empower all our team members to give back.
