About Us

The Basin Business Advisors Program (BBA) supports and inspires entrepreneurship and builds economic capacity in Basin communities by strengthening and supporting existing businesses and agriculture producers.

HOW WE SUPPORT BASIN BUSINESSES?
We provide free, confidential business support services to eligible businesses in the Columbia Basin Trust region.

Services can include general education and networking, 1:1 business advisory or referral consulting, cost-shared specialist consulting services, or support in seeking grant or funding support from other programs.

WHO ARE WE?
Our team of skilled professionals is made up of Basin residents who have extensive experience in business ownership, management and/or business development. They are deeply committed to supporting Basin business and work collaboratively, when necessary, drawing upon each other’s strengths, to help business owners identify issues and opportunities.

The BBA Program offers specialized agriculture advisement for primary producers and processors to help with the business of farming with a dedicated Agriculture Specialist Advisor.

OUT PARTNERS:
Funded by the Columbia Basin Trust, the BBA program is administered and managed by Kootenay Peaks Advisory LP, a business consulting and advisory partnership based in the Kootenay Lake region between Nelson and Creston. We work closely with other Trust business support programs such as Basin RevUp to provide a complete set of advisory and education services to our clients in the region.
