Cranbrook District Arts Council | Art Galleries
The Foundation established the Cranbrook Railway Museum in 1976. The museum’s name was changed in 1993 to the Canadian Museum of Rail Travel and to the Cranbrook History Centre in 2015.
Established in 1989, The Friends of Fort Steele Society took over full management of operations in 2004 under a long-term contract with the Province of British Columbia.
